These terms apply to services provided by Anodize IT (Samit Patel, sole trader, London, UK) — including monthly memberships, pay-as-you-go work, and MDM setup and management. By purchasing a membership or booking work, you agree to these terms.
When you purchase through this site, you'll be asked to confirm your acceptance of these Terms of Service at checkout before payment is taken. Ticking that box forms an agreement between you and Anodize IT on these terms. If you purchase or book work by other means (email, phone, or in person), your instruction to proceed constitutes acceptance of these terms.
If you're buying as a consumer, you have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, for a full refund. To cancel, just email hello@anodize-it.co.uk within that period. If you ask me to begin work during those 14 days, you agree that I may start straight away and that, if you then cancel, you'll pay for the portion of service already provided. In practice my policy is more generous than this minimum — memberships can be cancelled anytime, and the refunds section below applies.
Where a plan includes unlimited remote troubleshooting, this covers reasonable day-to-day support of the enrolled devices — diagnosing and fixing issues as they come up. It doesn't cover new project work (such as migrations, office moves, or new infrastructure), which is scoped and quoted separately. I reserve the right to discuss a more suitable plan if usage is consistently far beyond what the plan is designed for — you'll always hear from me before anything changes.
Stated response times (e.g. same-day, 24 hours) are targets I take seriously, not contractual guarantees. As a solo consultant, out-of-hours and holiday cover is best-effort. If I'm going to be unavailable for a period, members are told in advance.
MDM platform licences (Jamf, Kandji, Microsoft Intune, and similar) are purchased and held by you, directly with the vendor. I charge only for setup, configuration, and management. Your relationship with the platform vendor, including its pricing and terms, is between you and the vendor.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that can't be limited under UK law. Otherwise, my total liability for any claim arising from a piece of work is limited to the amount you paid for that work (or, for members, the fees paid in the preceding 3 months). I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.
If something included in your membership wasn't delivered in a given month, tell me and I'll either make it right or refund that month — whichever you prefer. One-off work is covered by the quote agreement: if I don't deliver what was agreed, you don't pay for it.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions: hello@anodize-it.co.uk.
